    Ms. Hatherley-Parr's area of practice is focused on all areas of family law including dissolution of marriage/domestic partnership, legal separation, establishment and modification of child custody and child visitation orders, establishment and modification of child support and spousal support orders, domestic violence restraining orders, and property division issues.

    Background:
    After graduating from California State University, Fresno and obtaining her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Ms. Hatherley-Parr spent the next five years teaching science and mathematics at Sequoia Union School District to junior high students. Ms. Hatherley-Parr decided to follow in the footsteps of her father and brother and began attending San Joaquin College of Law in August, 2005. She completed the program in three years, starting her first year of classes with a 10-month-old son and then giving birth to twins in her second year.

    She sat for the California Bar Exam in July, 2008, and passed it on her first attempt. On May 11, 2009, she swore the lawyer's oath before the Honorable Jennifer Shirk, Judge, and was admitted as a member of the California State Bar.
